Get-Set-Go with Quick Command Center reports! -

In line with the last blog on the 360-degree view of your deployment (/ blogs / 2012/05/15 / get-a-view--360 degrees travers- NetScaler-your-leg-repeater-deployments /), we will focus this blog on the power of quick reports.

Get the inside information on how your deployment done, can be a tricky thing. Command Center provisions the flexibility to define a model for precisely the kind of report you need, which is called Custom Reports. It works on multiple devices with multiple counters and can perform a comprehensive reporting.

But there will be times you might need to make quick decisions or perform a quick analysis. At times like these, you want to quickly run a report for a single device and check its health systems, or to analyze the number of active connections are made through its services. To respond to emergencies like these, to obtain information as quickly as possible and do not indicate anything, Quick Reports were introduced.

The idea behind Fast report was to enable the user to generate reports without specifying all parameters or model. The user just needs Go in the Quick Reports tab, Set counters and the time period and Get graphical reports for selected counters a jiffy!

Now, how easy it is to generate quick reports :)

Step 1 :. Under the Reports tab, GB to quick reports

Step 2: Set connector and the counter

Step 3: Get charts by clicking Show graph

reports with these three easy steps, you can generate desired in no time!

Why these three graphs

There are 3 tables that are maintained on the command center for reports

-. First table has the 5-minute interval interrogation default which is maintained for 14 days. 15 e day, the new data will be interviewed, overwrite the old data in the table

-. Second table schedule default polling interval is maintained for 30 days. 31 st update data overwrite old data

-. Third table every day (once a day) the interval is maintained for 365 days of voting by default. Even here, the new data after 365 days, will overwrite the old data.

This way, whenever Command Center generates reports, it generates reports from all three tables that it maintains.

What can you do here

Once you've generated graphics, you can do the following :?

  • Change the type of chart plots the line, area, bar, stacked area or stacked bar
  • Zoom in or zoom out on the drawn cards
  • Customize different type of different plots of instances
  • Export data on the charts in CSV or XML formats

with this, we end the blog on the power Quick reports . Blog Then we will see how custom reports (custom reports) can change the way you get performance reports!
