Probably the best EMEA CAD event and it's free! -

Just a quick blog and personal recommendation for what I consider to be hands-down the best CAD users and industry event in EMEA, perhaps even the world. In fact, it covers not only CAD but CAM, CAE, PLM, rendering, 3D technologies, haptic devices, virtual reality, 3D printing; 4 streams of art.

Develop3D LIVE! If on 26 March at Warwick University, UK, instead of th 2015 headline sponsorship from Dell and AMD. The list of exhibitors is huge, covering all aspects of interest to a designer, the organizers are 3D one of the largest and most respected CAD magazines and online resources. In addition, the event completely FREE

the caliber of speakers pulls this event always breathtaking, this year's program has been announced:

  • Dominic Wilcox, Designer
  • Richard Varvill, Reaction engines Limited
  • Carl Bass, Autodesk CEO
  • Dan Staples, VP mainstream technology research and development at Siemens PLM
  • Gian Paolo Bassi, CEO of SolidWorks
  • Mark Sanders, inventors
  • Jon deer Tick, Onshape CEO and founder of SolidWorks
  • and many more can be read here

over 60 companies on four exhibitions are spaces updated product development present technology. You can (basically all those things will be there in CAD and any technology!) The daily growing exhibitor list here to read.

I went last year and wrote this review alongside 7 other participants about how much I gained from participation and enjoyed. Many of our key ISV partners that have their applications will be virtualized and it is a great opportunity for me, with partners like Autodesk, Siemens PLM, Lightworks, Lenovo, SolidWorks to catch up. I always appreciate the opportunity to speak real designer and trying all hands-on demos.

This event is so good, I would actively encourage those in EMEA to consider visiting a trip to Britain. The conference is near excellent transport links (motorway connections and Birmingham Airport) and the heart of the British automotive industry. With other attractions such as Shakespeare's Stratford, Warwick Castle and the nearby National Motor Heritage Centre, it is also a good event, the family bring about.
