CAD + cloud and CAD + virtualization is the reason why I moved to Citrix from the CAD industry, Siemens PLM with NVIDIA on the HDX 3D Pro GPU projects work specifically to help virtualize designers.

Over Christmas I spent with a friend Sander van der Hoek, who works in the Netherlands at IBM partner a little time to work. Sander was Ruben Sprujit (TeamRGE and CTP) imagined, a key figure in the Community graphics virtualization, and his opinions and work are highly valued in the industry.

My name is Sander van der Hoek
(nl.linkedin.com/in/SandervanderHoek). Besides working for IBM i study at E3 University, where I am writing my doctoral thesis entitled "Development in the designer work" your help to fill in this survey is greatly appreciated.
Before you begin, the poll questions Let me answer first start answering a few questions.
Why should I take the time to complete this survey?
to write by this filling survey will help me meaningful work about the designer at work. There are many developments in the market. Recently NVidia, Citrix and VMware announced new developments in the field of 3D-capable high-end virtual desktops. Software vendors and service providers also SAAS (Software as a Service) development based CAD / CAM solutions, which will provide new opportunities these high-end applications for designers at any place and any device, often to make cloud-based. Many organizations that use CAD / CAM or other highly graphical workstations, are exploring the new NVIDIA / Citrix / VMware DAAS (Desktop as a Service) and SAAS capabilities because the main business and IT benefits that this new technology are enabled.

So, what do you mean by designer workplace?
The designer workplace, the survey is a (mostly corporate) high-end workstation with high graphics capabilities, the designer applications such as CAD / CAM or other designer applications are running. It typically makes models and 3D images of products that are being developed, such as cars, buildings, equipment or other physical products.
