Researchers at the USENIX Security Conference are showing how they can "hack" the brain of a person for sensitive data such as your address, your bank, your birthday and even your PIN number.
scary stuff! What's even scarier is that they are able to do so with cheap, off the shelf and custom software medical equipment
Less scary is how it works. Researchers show you pictures of things and if your brain reacts to those you know, it gets logged. So at least for now, they have not figured out how just to catch your thoughts while you're sitting at a cafe. One could say, simply close your eyes and it all stops working
