In our Partner Summit we spent time to discuss a new solution, Citrix WorkspacePod (CWP ), which in 2015 WorkspacePod be published later, a fully-integrated software stack, the Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix XenApp is supported. The technology enables converged and hyper-converged infrastructure to deliver the Citrix mobile office experience. Let the break a bit better understand what it means. First CWP is a software solution. We are no servers and storage hardware for sale as part of CWP. The fully integrated software stack is the software that forms WorkspacePod. It integrates convergent or convergent infrastructure in the lower part of the stack and the hypervisor and workloads in the top of the stack with the underlying Hyper. In the first issue CWP XenDesktop and XenApp will support. Customer satisfaction is the number one priority for Citrix. Whatever makes the experience seamless needs to work on the user without interruption.
We carry an Early Adopter Program (EAP) for WorkspacePod
The purpose of the EAP is CWP validate through feedback and suggestions by the existing customers for the introduction of CWP to the wider market through our Sales, Services and Support teams and channel partners and prepare. The program runs together with HP and DataON . We'll talk a lot more about CWP at Synergy. The EAP is to reach a springboard there. We want to show success with customers who have checked CWP at this time. We are looking for 50 Perspectives 10-12 shortly do implementations. Our partner HP has already begun to bring us HP Moonshot - Citrix CWP possibilities! You have to bring themselves committed 25 chances, and we have the match!
Here's how it works. We send our engineers to help spot, implement early adopter implementations and provide partners the local SE and sales training on site. We are primarily for buyers looking in the US, UK and Western, Central and Northern Europe. The customer is probably a Managed Service Provider Financial Services / Banking or production company. They will try a XenDesktop environment for 150-750 users set up (and XenApp for 400-00 users). The initial deployment will be limited during the test phase and later integrated into their home network. It may be a green field operation or hardware replacement. You must be willing to be public reference as CWP Early Adopter ..
How do we define vary to customer success by customer. The only thing that all successes have in common is that expectations must be met! It is extremely important that you and the client go to the expectations agreed in the project. We encourage you to work with your local SE and our global team CWP. Success can be measured by the time to the solution takes to implement, enabling cost savings per seat with hyper-converged infrastructure, ease of use, one-stop support or the Citrix administrator.
