Real-World Lessons for Citrix Service Provider Partner
Congratulations Light Edge solutions!
Last week stepped Light Edge Solutions, which hosted Citrix services market and, boy, they have it right. I had the pleasure of not only participation, but also help support one of the best running Citrix Service Provider Partner launch events I not seen in my five years have been working in the provider community Citrix service.
When my team is with our partners who build new Citrix-based hosting services, we have a lot of emphasis on planning, as they bring it actually to its customers and the market. The Light Edge Start serves as a great model for other partners to learn how they think about their own go-to-market strategies.
Before I get into how the day unfolded, let me cover the actual message.
On April officially announced 15.2015 Light Edge, the Citrix Service Provider program and the introduction of the new Light Edge workplace has Cloud.
Light Edge Computer Cloud is a managed suite of hosted Citrix solutions users designed to provide a seamless experience and provides access to a secure mobile workstation from anywhere and on any device. It is a multi-tenant solution that is based on Microsoft CloudOS on the Citrix Service Provider Reference Architecture and uses XenApp, XenDesktop and Share File XenMobile. It starts with good planning
What made this introduction (and relationship) successfully? In my opinion, there was a clear vision, early planning and a good team to have, committed the execution of the plan
Engaged with Citrix early -. Light Edge has traditionally focused data center services, infrastructure, cloud, networking and managed services. Just like Citrix and our customers, they recognized the growing importance of applications in an ever-increasingly mobile world. In addition, they had to their customers to enable to support demands for things like BYOD and secure mobile app access via hosted services. To this end, they engaged early in the process the ability to review to understand the Citrix Service Provider Team, the market trends, learn how to do this is in scalable, multi-tenant design and perhaps most importantly, a strong to forge relationships that carry it would through the quarters of the implementation and execution of

Later they used the new Hosted workspaces Demo Guide for Citrix Service Provider Partner and Citrix Desktops as-a-Service and Hosted workspaces EBC demo video to help formulate their own demo flow and setup all devices , They trained even one of its employees of the Chief Officer demo, their customers through the demonstration to go
to develop the go-to-market plan -. Instead of treating Go- to-market and start planning as an afterthought, Light Edge put equal weight on in this critical part of the overall strategy of beginning.

some sums Created - Everyone loves a good job their customers interest piquing a surprise and the Light Edge team with event invitations. Instead of coming right out and say what the event was about, they shared just enough to get an insight into the day people and to see to make sure wanted, what would unfold. Needless to say, they had hoped far beyond its original number of RSVPs they get only participation standing room and had.
Optimal timing - the event was scheduled 11:00 to 13:00 in the middle of the week, making it easy for anyone to visit. What basically was a long lunch, people were still able to have a productive working day and not bother with it after hours personal commitments. And of course, no one can turn down a free lunch. High-impact keynote presentation -. The day began with a short keynote presentation to start things. The agenda included all the right topics for the day, including:
- Introductory remarks and the new Light Edge Computer Cloud Announcement by Jeff Springborn, President and Chief Operating Officer
- Citrix vision, strategy and as Light Edge has to hosted workspaces through our Citrix service provider program by yours truly
- A closer look at the work center cloud application and business drivers of Chad Gustafson, Vice President of Professional Services
- Finally, and perhaps most importantly, Steve Miller, IT manager of CIVCO Medical Solutions, an existing Light Edge customer, who shared his thoughts why their workplace organization cloud will be acceptance.
demos, demo and more demos - after the keynote small groups were in the EBC demo room led workplace cloud firsthand to see. from giving hat to Michael Brisbois, the Chief Officer demo for the perfect demo countless times. What this work is done really that Michael made the demo story his own. He shared his own personal experiences using the solution, added some humor and really the audience with his infectious energy intrigued. I could tell in the audience of all nod that they liked what they saw.

Although there is no single right way is to start a new hosted service, I hope that other Citrix service provider, the (or even going again) to launch a hosted service plan benefit from reading this prize list of ingredients. After a successful launch event like this, I am confident that the Light Edge Account Manager many customers who will like to have to learn more, and I'm sure many will soon be back on their own one to one meetings EBC.
