Amid growing concern over national supervisory policies, the White House launched a survey to gather the views of Americans about how they perceive the data collection.
The survey asks users a series of questions such as who you trust for your online data, information that you as the user wants to keep private, what types of data collection process are related and how important transparency about data collection is.
The survey comes after the commitment by President Obama on January 17 when he called for a 0-day review of the data collection and new approaches to privacy . This effort is led by the White House Senior Advisor John Podesta.
"We know this is a complex issue," said Podesta in a video message. "The technology is changing rapidly.
The review should be completed by the end of April and the goal of the Obama administration is to better understand the current state of technology and how it relates to the use of '. big data "and how it can be treated better in away that respects online privacy of Americans
