Last Thursday Microsoft announced that IE 10 would include a Do Not Track setting default that would not necessarily block cookies, but it means every site you visit that you do not want to be tracked. Microsoft's decision has created a threat to the advertising companies who track angle cookies for their advertisements (like Google). Microsoft provides about 25% of the net users will switch to IE 10 and the default, which means more than a quarter of the users will be excluded from follow-up behavioral ads, which means advertising giants are unhappy. Privacy has become a major concern for online users with recent password leaks and intrusive advertising.
