A step forward for Business-Ready Mobility - it is enough -

We know the pattern. Innovation comes from hypermarkets and makes slowly its way into the business world. Mobility is one of many a beneficiary of this innovation. This innovation has to tell us new types of devices, new types of applications and new ways information. Ultimately, this consumer has innovation provided us with new ways of working ... better ways to work.

Android brings built for industrial security on mobile devices
A few months ago, we heard about a great new program from Google that all its major consumer innovations in mobile operating systems, applications and equipment will bring to the economy. With Android for work, organizations can now include Android-based devices with the confidence that they are secure, flexible, economical and uniform mobility platform.

But this is enough security in integrated your mobility to the center? Initiatives around

Leading focus mobility strategies for heterogeneity: applications, data, networks, devices and people
a secure device central goal of any mobility strategy - especially if the device is proprietary -. and it's great, Google is making so much progress to bring the beloved Android OS for businesses to see

But the device is only the beginning

embrace successful mobility. Added value in the business, companies need to focus on the content - the applications and data - is required on these devices, the way people connect to that content, and the fact that people will use many different devices to do their job - not only a "safe" one. So how can organizations take advantage of these new innovations and at the same value will be guaranteed?

  1. Focus on the applications and data need people. Mobile workers need access to the same applications and data they have when sitting at her desk in her office. This means that all offer business applications (may be the windows, web, SaaS or mobile), all data and all services related to the people on their various devices. Unfortunately this does not happen today. According to Forrester Research, 71% of employees do not feel equipped with the technology necessary to do their work outside the office. Content drives productivity, and this should be a goal of any mobility initiative.
  2. Set a secure access, regardless of how people connect. people no longer connect to corporate resources via a LAN / WAN. Today, people use the network, the most is smooth at any given time - in many cases this means WiFi or 3G / 4G connection. Given that there is little control over how people connect, it is important to focus on ensuring that the services that will deliver optimized, accelerated and secured over any network. This a positive user experience in the provision goes a long way.
  3. device diversity embrace. As much as you want to build your mobility strategy by one or two platforms (like Android and iPhone), you can not - people will always bring in the latest "bling" that require IT support. Moreover, devices come in all shapes and sizes. People use all kinds of laptops (like Chromebooks, MacBooks, Windows PCs) and want to use their choice of device at work. Your mobility initiative will drive more value if you do not recognize the devices that people can control use, so plan your strategy to assist all of them!
  4. Remember, people their own way to work. People today are connected to the art, all aspects of their lives. You know how to best use technology to allow them to operate in a manner that enables the best for their own productivity. If your mobility strategy build, remember. Remember that a personal preference for a device, an app, or service may change, and the most successful strategies are built in this sense. Just as all the tips here, it all comes back to embrace heterogeneity (and change).

Business-Ready Mobility is here. Are you up to the task?
So, you are ready for business ready to deliver mobility? Major new innovations in platforms and devices with built-in security are a big step. But more is needed to bring real productivity of mobile workers. Technologies such as mobile workspaces will close this gap. These technologies ensure that employees have a seamless access to all their applications and data on any device they choose, over any network. And most importantly, the people have the opportunity again to make personal computing, flexibility to choose their own devices, while at the same time at their fingertips all their work.

It is to get great innovation look to make business mobility possible from all sides of the ecosystem. With the collaboration of device and platform manufacturers, application developers, management solutions and more, the work is reinvented and will people be able to work better.
