IPVanish version offers the user selection of TCP and UDP connections on OpenVPN

Version 1.2.3.17 of IPVanish was released today give the user the option to choose between two types of IP traffic, TCP or UDP.

TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) is a connection based and used for applications that are not critical time and the size of the header is 20 bytes.

whereas UDP (User Datagram Protocol) is used for applications that require fast data such as games, and the size of the header is 8 bytes. For more information on what type of IP traffic you want to use, click here.

To begin using the latest version of IPVanish simply run it as usual and you will be prompted to upgrade.
