IPVanish is pleased to release a new major release of its Windows software, version 1.2 .3.6.
In this version, Windows 8 users are now supported, with a caveat - OpenVPN is disabled now. Not a problem with IPVanish but OpenVPN, which has problems with Windows 8. There is no patch OpenVPN at that time, if one is being developed. Once fixed, a new version of the software will include support IPVanish.
L2TP and PPTP are both fully supported for Windows 8 users and OpenVPN is available for all other supported version of Windows.
Also in this version, since we have added many new servers and new countries in recent times, the software has been taking a long time to run through all the response time for your rankings. As we continue to grow, time would simply increase. A fix was made so that users can access any server immediately after the start without having to wait for the response time to fill.
