We are pleased to announce @WorkMail - Exchange mail client for the iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets. This application is part of the larger Me @ Work application suite which was announced at Synergy Barcelona.

Most of you are probably jaded to new messaging clients and the idea that they saw everything. Let's face it - if email is the way to 190 to communicate! Many of us probably use Facebook, LinkedIn or WhatsApp messaging, as well as their regular e-mail - I really do. You could legitimately expect that the construction of a new mail client that adds innovative value to users is wishful thinking - like waiting for the sun to Seattle during the winter

However, it is undeniable that corporate email is the "killer app originally for mobile device and no doubt his status of" killer "remains today - we must remember that RIM has made a fortune via secure messaging Blackberry. As we listened to our customers, we found that there is still much work to do to deliver on all corporate email security in a BYOD environment that has a great user experience. This is especially true for our clients that are in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, industry and finance where costs and responsibility of information leaks via e-mail are enormous. IT groups to these customers bear a heavy responsibility to ensure that no email data leaks and lost mobile device in a random bar does not lead to sensitive information being divulged. Generally, it reacts to this responsibility by clamping down and making sure none of the mobile devices have access to corporate email.

Of course, this situation is untenable and there is a high demand for secure messaging with the ease of use to match the expectations of the typical employee of a mobile user experience.

keeping in mind the above context for secure messaging, we targeted objectives that we have designed our e-mail application:

Build a magnificent experience and delightful user - on mobile devices, users have high expectations of the user experience. Corporate Users are the same traditional customers who have absorbed the consumer application user experience - they expect the same polish and joy in enterprise applications (they articulate it or not is another matter) . We took this expectation quite seriously and worked hard to create an integrated design for Mail, Calendar and Contacts

work well with Microsoft Exchange and ActiveSync -. Exchange is the largest enterprise messaging and boy is definitely the leader of thought. Trade dominates nearly the enterprise messaging and Office 365 offer they could dominate the SME segment as well. We made sure that Exchange ActiveSync and push e-mail protocol works well with our application

integrate well with other mobile apps in the Citrix Me @ Work Suite -. With @WorkMail we launched @ WorkWeb - a secure browser application. We designed from the ground up for our email application to work seamlessly with other applications in the suite of labor Me @ including the browser application. As a user comes across an intranet link in the message, they can click on this link to launch @WorkWeb on the intranet without further authentication control. MDX Interapp technology ensures that Single-Sign On and app communications occur transparently to the user.

Conversely, if you click on mailto link on the page you are browsing @ WorkWeb opens seamlessly into @WorkMail email as composing. We worked hard to ensure that the application to work scenarios in a secure and great user experience.

data integration - We also have enabled tight integration with ShareFile space using the MDX Interapp technology. We designed a user experience easily download attachments documents in his email to his ShareFile space - that space can be managed by IT, it is safer and goes a long way in treating DLP. Using @WorkMail a user can not download documents in unsecured places on the device that are not in the IT spring.

In addition to the above features, we've also added lots of other features such as integration with GoToMeeting calendar for scheduling meetings, showing free time / busy and of course encryption, and political aspects of the MDX Vault security.
