Citrix CloudPlatform (powered by Apache CloudStack) The version 3.0.3 is now available. This minor release includes advances in Amazon compatibility, high availability, XenServer management, support for Cisco Nexus 1000v and more.

Secure Access console on XenServer
With adding functionality Secure Console CloudPlatform 3.0.3, users can now securely access the VM console on the XenServer hypervisor.

Order VM
CloudStack now supports the creation of a virtual machine without starting on the backend.

Transferring an existing volume to a virtual machine
Existing data can now be made available to a virtual machine. This is called downloading a volume in the VM. For example, this is useful for downloading data from a local file system and attach it to a virtual machine.

dedicated high-availability hosts
One or more hosts can now be designated for use only by the high availability (HA) enabled VM are restarted due to a fault the host.

Improved support for Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud API
Fidelity with the EC2 API and the functionality of this installation experience are both improved.

Support for Cisco Nexus 1000v
in addition to standard vSwitch, CloudStack supports Cisco Nexus 1000v now for virtual network configuration in VMware vSphere deployments.
