inquiry into the deployment of services CloudPortal manager?
you are looking to make more use of automation in your new (or existing) CloudPortal service offerings?
Wondering what access to available API's there?
Then look no further than the latest version of the API Guide for users CloudPoral Services Manager (CPSM) v10. The CloudPortal Services Manager API is an API based on the web that allows you to interact directly with CPSM without using the Web portal. API access may also be granted on a per user basis, and gives a user the ability to manage database objects in CPSM (such as customers, users and services) from virtually any language programming.
The guide goes beyond just the introductory information and fills in the gaps on some useful techniques / Advanced. It also contains new content that will be useful both for beginners and experienced users of the API:
- The section "Making an API request" now contains a sample PowerShell your hands on, make your first application in 5 lines of PowerShell script.
- There is a new topic under "Useful Techniques" that will show you how to retrieve the properties and hidden properties.
- a new "properties of customers," describes more information about the properties of clients and their valid values.
- a new "Service Name" table appendix describes the common services / platform that you can perform actions on.
- There is a new section on finding and retrieving reports.
- in "granting user access to the API" will guide you through what you need to configure a custom API role to give dealers and customers (of your choice) access to the API.
If you need more information on a particular subject or have questions or comments related to the API, please post in the forum Manager CloudPortal services. a quick navigation through existing subjects can lead you to the answers to questions of common API as well. your comments will also help us expand the documentation in future releases.
There also other information that can be found in KB CloudPortal items. for example configurationvia SharePoint API is fully oulined in this article http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX134841
Note : It is recommended before deploying the access to the API production, you install HotFix 2 (cumulative update 1) on your CloudPortal services Manager v10 environment. The cumulative update contains few specific corrections to the API functionality. HotFix 2 information can be found at the following address http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX134192.
