Windows 8 and Windows RT devices will start rolling later this month - just in time for the holiday season purchases - and you can count on Citrix winning collaborative, file sharing, remote access, remote support and desktop virtualization services to enable you to work and play anywhere. As we indicated in our customers and partners at our conference customer Synergy Barcelona this week, Citrix plans to provide full support for Windows 8 and Windows RT-compatible services across its product range from now until the new year.
Available this month, Citrix is pleased to announce Windows 8 compatible versions:
- • File sharing and synchronization: ShareFile Sync for Windows and MS ShareFile Outlook plug-in
- • Citrix collaboration services: GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, GoToTraining and Podio *
- • IT support: GoToAssist remote Support, Monitoring and service Desk and GoToAssist corporate
- • access to remote desktop: GoToMyPC (available in beta)
- • Anytime, anywhere access: Citrix Receiver for Windows 8
- • positions work and virtual applications: VDI-in-a-Box 5.1, preview tech with XenDesktop, XenApp and AppDNA
joint customers of Windows and Citrix to upgrade to Windows 8 will experience updates transparent and automatic, allowing them to have uninterrupted access to our cloud services. By providing immediate support and timely for Windows 8, we can ensure that our customers can work where, when and with whom they have to stay productive and provide ongoing service to their internal and external customers.
We are very pleased of this new chapter in our partnership with Microsoft and have worked hard to ensure that our new and existing customers can rely on our products for their remote access needs, and file sharing collaboration.
