Mark Templeton, CEO of Citrix, a lot has spoken on the concept of a software-defined workspace. A Octoblu demo we Gimbal iBeacons built used a while back to start a GTM meeting if one or more beacons walk into a room. So imagine there an iPhone or iPad in a room of our BeaconBlu app runs (comes to the App Store this year), and you and your manager are scheduled to have a meeting with another branch at a time when both in the office. If you both in with beacons in the bag walking, the meeting is automatically started. No need to fumble to get fast open meeting, just walk in and you are ready. With Octoblu we can create interactions like these and more. We have developed the platform to allow the user to create these applications visually a variety of hardware devices and web services! The picture above shows how to bring a simple flow that just one session starts when you place your beacon on top of the phone. The picture below shows an example of a more complex flow that starts the session if all persons required to enter the room. When the meeting a record of the session ends on each email that was in the meeting as a Share File Link. As we progress with this we are preparing to publish on how to do this yourself!
