Pew Research survey results show that 62% of smartphone owners and 64% of tablets use these mobile devices to check news. In addition, the study found that nearly 15% click on ads when getting news on a mobile device and about 7% actually buy something, that are higher clickthrough rates than about display ads based on a browser that are less than 1%.
Further evidence that mobility is the future, Comscore reports that mobile devices represent 1/8 page views Internet and ABI Research predicts by 2015 there will be 155 million mobile video users 2.4 million in 2010.
